This 1:1 model of the inner part of an outdoor lamp served as test model for mounting electronic ballast, sockets and other electronic equipment. The design was evaluated from this model before expensive tooling was made to finally be able to cast the part in plastic.
The model was merely hardened and used for functional tests.
